Christmas Picks for Girls, ages 5 to 8!
I don't know about you, but having a little five year old girl during the Christmas holiday has got to be one of the most exciting and amazing experiences EVER! I am loving the magical energy flying around our house! Check out these Christmas favorites!
Llama Llama Holiday Drama, by Anna Dewdney is becoming a favorite in our house! There are so many things that have to be done before the holiday! Gifts, decorations, cookies, crowds...lots of hustle and bustle! It all makes for an exciting day, but will it ever get here? Mama helps Llama through some holiday drama, but then reminds Llama about the most important gift...each other.
Fancy Nancy has been a favorite character in our house for quite some time now. This book, Fancy Nancy: Splendiferous Christmas was a Christmas Eve pick for Kylie a couple of years ago. She is fancy, like Nancy, in every way! Nancy is so excited to decorate the tree with Grandpa and to place her new, fancy tree topper on the top of a perfectly fancy tree! One little mishap leads to an even more memorable experience with Grandpa...time spent together at Christmastime. It doesn't get any better than this!
A Bad Kitty Christmas, by Nick Bruel, is a fairly recent addition to the Christmas book collection, as it was just released this past September. Bad Kitty, like many children, tries to do the right thing, but it just never works out that way! Don't miss out on this hilarious book that also serves as an educational tool, as Bad Kitty goes through the alphabet over and over again!!
