Take a closer look. This is not Margaret Wise Brown's masterpiece. It's
Goodnight iPad: a Parody for the next generation, by Ann Droyd. I found this parody of Wise's ever popular Goodnight Moon to be both entertaining and frightening at the same time. Flip through the pages for an intimate view of how our family rooms have transformed over the years. Our modern lives are full of digital gadgets, scrolls, clicks and tweets. It's crazy when you really think of all of the devices commonly found in all of our homes.....and a little bit scary. The book ends with a family reading Goodnight Moon. It's just a friendly reminder to all of us living it up in the technological world...say goodnight to your gadgets and READ to your kids!
Check out this trailer for the book. It reads through the entire story.
